Τo νέο βιβλίο του Χάρη Μεϊδάνη: Το Διεθνές Ιδιωτικό Δίκαιο της Εμπορικής Διαμεσολάβησης.

Το νέο βιβλίο του διαχειριστή εταίρου μας, Χάρη Μεϊδάνη, εκδόθηκε από τις εκδόσεις Νομική Βιβλιοθήκη και Stämpfli Verlag. Το βιβλίο πραγματεύεται το ζήτημα του τόπου διεξαγωγής της διαμεσολάβησης (venue), το ζήτημα του εφαρμοστέου δικαίου, καθώς και το ζήτημα της εκτέλεσης, στο πλαίσιο της διεθνούς εμπορικής διαμεσολάβησης. Προσφέρει απαντήσεις στα περισσότερα πρακτικά νομικά ερωτήματα που μπορεί να προκύψουν σε ένα διεθνές περιβάλλον διαμεσολάβησης, εξετάζει τις πιο πρόσφατες νομοθετικές και ακαδημαϊκές εξελίξεις, ενώ προτείνει νέες θεωρίες ή ιδέες στον τομέα. 

Μεταξύ αυτών περιλαμβάνονται: 

- η «υβριδική νομική φύση» της συμφωνίας επίλυσης μέσω διαμεσολάβησης,

- η σχετική θεωρία της εγγενούς δεσμευτικής ισχύος και εκτελεστότητας που μπορεί να έχει μια τέτοια συμφωνία,

- η έννοια του «νομικού κελύφους» της διαμεσολάβησης,

- η ιδέα της μη ύπαρξης φόρουμ στη διαμεσολάβηση,

- η έννοια της «lex mediationis». 

Αυτό το βιβλίο αποτελεί ένα αναγκαίο εργαλείο για ακαδημαϊκούς, για διαμεσολαβητές και δικηγόρους στη διεθνή διαμεσολάβηση, αλλά και σε φοιτητές που ενδιαφέρονται για το θέμα αυτό.
